Job Description:

Honeywell is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to business value through efficient technology solutions. The candidate should have expertise in technologies such as .Net Core, REST API’s, Azure Cloud services, React JS/TypeScript, Node JS, and various databases like MongoDB, SQL Server, and Postgres. Familiarity with DevOps, SRE practices, and version control tools like Git is essential. While a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required, additional experience in Python is considered beneficial.

Key Technologies:

- .Net Core

- REST API’s

- Azure Cloud: Dockers, containerization, AKS, Blob/Table Storage, service bus, App services, Function App, Azure VMs

- React JS/TypeScript, Node JS, JavaScript, JSON

- DevOps, SRE

- Databases: MongoDB/SQL Server/Postgres/any other database

- Version Control: Git, Bitbucket

Good to have:

- Python

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

Desired Skills:

- Understanding of various software development lifecycles

- Ability to develop efficient and high-quality software

- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices

- Diverse and global team collaboration

- Effective communication skills

- Quick analysis and application of new information

- Timely decision-making in complex situations

- Clear communication of subtle or complex messages

- Some relevant experience is preferred.
