Work Hours: The role requires flexibility, with shift timings that may include 11:30 am to 9:00 pm or 5:30 pm to 3:00 am, depending on business needs.

Technical Interview Mode: Candidates will undergo a face-to-face technical interview at the Wipro Chennai office.

Responsibilities

1. System Configuration:
   - Set up and configure parameters within Wipro’s Total Benefit Administration System to align with the requirements defined in project analysis.
   - Utilize Wipro’s proprietary tools to implement system configurations that ensure the delivery of custom solutions to clients.
   - Ensure precise documentation of configurations and updates to maintain a clear record of modifications.

2. Testing and Quality Assurance:
   - Participate in system testing phases, ensuring the configured solution functions correctly and aligns with client expectations.
   - Perform both simple and complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy within the system.
   - Contribute to the automation testing process, applying best practices for software quality assurance.
   - Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing, and ensure a seamless experience for the end users.

3. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):
   - Assist in various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, and testing.
   - Adhere to SDLC best practices, understanding each stage’s role and importance within the development process.
   - Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to gain insights and experience in software project execution.

4. Data and Database Management:
   - Apply relational database concepts, such as table relationships and keys, to support system configurations.
   - Write and execute SQL and DB2 queries to manage data flow and ensure consistency in client deliverables.
   - Perform database maintenance tasks to support software configurations.

5. Client and Team Collaboration:
   - Engage in regular discussions with project teams to align configurations with client expectations.
   - Demonstrate strong communication skills, providing clear and concise updates on tasks and progress.
   - Participate in training sessions and actively engage in team activities to build a strong knowledge foundation and establish a collaborative spirit.

Technical Skills

- Basic Understanding of SDLC: Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle and its stages.
- SQL Knowledge: Proficiency in writing intermediate SQL queries, with experience in both simple and complex queries to support data management.
- SAS and Mainframes: Knowledge of SAS and Mainframe principles and concepts is preferred.
- Automation Testing: Awareness of automation testing principles; hands-on exposure is an added advantage.
- Database Management: Familiarity with relational database concepts and experience using SQL, DB2, and relational database models.
