Description:
Coinbase is seeking frontend engineers to join our team to build out the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You will help build the next generation of systems to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone across the globe.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
- Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems.
- Be nimble and show a bias for action to ensure the Coinbase experience is always steps ahead of local competitors.
- Write infrastructural services that provide secure storage, accounting, and transactional services to help our customers transfer assets safely.
- Work with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
- Add positive energy to every meeting and make your coworkers feel included in every interaction.
What we look for in you:
- Fresh grads are welcomed to apply. You have some experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.
- You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability.
- You’re familiar with product and design lifecycles and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- You write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
Nice to haves:
- You’ve worked on front-end teams in the finance or security space.
- You have at least internship experience in developing React Native mobile apps or helped move existing native apps to React Native.
