About the Role
As a Graduate Trainee – Associate Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and integration assistance to PayU’s merchants. You will work closely with development and product teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex integration issues. This role demands strong problem-solving abilities, quick learning, and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
You will play a key role in ensuring that merchants experience smooth integrations, high uptime, and reliable technical support across PayU’s suite of payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with merchants, developers, and internal teams to manage pre- and post-integration support for PayU’s products and APIs.
Provide Level 1 technical support for issues related to payment APIs, plugins, and transaction processes.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems efficiently to ensure a smooth merchant experience.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analyze system logs, identify recurring trends, and escalate critical issues to the product team for timely resolution.
Assist developers in debugging and reproducing defects and support them in implementing quick fixes.


Required Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (Batch 2024/2025 preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Basic knowledge of web development in any of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, VB.NET, PHP, or Python.

Understanding of APIs, integrations, and payment systems is an added advantage.
Logical thinking with attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
Customer-focused attitude with professionalism and confidence in handling queries.
Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to merchant integration or payment gateway technologies.
Basic understanding of networking, API architecture, and troubleshooting.
Experience with log analysis tools or ticketing systems is a plus.
