Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

1. Designing and Executing Test Plans: Develop, design, and execute thorough test plans and test cases to ensure the product is of the highest quality. These test cases will span across various platforms, including web applications, mobile applications, and backend systems.

3. Performing API and UI Testing: Execute various types of testing, including functional, exploratory, and regression testing, on both APIs and user interfaces to ensure the product performs as expected under all conditions.

4. Analysis of Bug Reports: Review and analyze bug reports submitted by various teams or users, identify critical problem areas, and compile insightful test reports that contribute to the overall software improvement process.

5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: You will actively engage with design and development teams to identify application faults, resolve bugs, and ensure a smooth end-user experience across different platforms.

6. Writing and Maintaining Test Cases: Create and manage detailed test cases based on application requirements, ensuring that all functionality is adequately covered. This will also involve the execution of test cases during various stages of the software development lifecycle.

7. Conducting Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that newly developed features or changes do not affect existing functionality.

8. Technical Documentation: Maintain and update technical documentation to reflect changes in test strategies, test cases, and product features. Clear documentation is essential to keeping the entire team informed about the state of quality and the scope of testing.

9. Release Management: You will play a critical role in approving software releases, ensuring that all aspects of the product are properly tested and meet the company’s high-quality standards before being released to clients or the public.

- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or any related field is required.
