About the Role
Pegasystems is looking for an Applications Engineer to join its dynamic team. In this role, you will work on Pega Infinity and Java to develop scalable, high-performance applications. As part of an Agile SCRUM team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
Convert business requirements into feature design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Develop and optimize applications using the Pega platform (85%) and Pega application design (15%).

Build highly scalable and efficient applications with minimal oversight.

Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams in a SCRUM environment.

Work on SQL databases, web services, and system integrations.

Implement design patterns and DevOps methodologies to improve software quality.

Stay updated with cloud technologies, SaaS, and PaaS solutions to enhance application performance.

Take ownership of EPICS and sprints while ensuring timely delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
2-4 years of hands-on experience in Pega application development.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software design.

Experience in SQL databases, web services, and system integration.

Knowledge of design patterns, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.

Experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams.

Pega CSA/CSSA certification is mandatory.

Preferred Skills
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Exposure to SaaS and PaaS solutions.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
