Job Description

As a Developer at Wipro, you will play a critical role in enhancing software functionality, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting client-specific project needs. This position involves analyzing, modifying, and troubleshooting software to improve user experience and adapt to evolving technological requirements. You will collaborate with both engineering teams and clients, contributing to project milestones and ensuring quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development and Modification
   - Design and execute test cases to validate software functionalities, modifying software to address issues, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
   - Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system information, recommend new installations, and plan modifications to existing systems.

2. Quality Assurance and Testing
   - Ensure code is free of bugs, errors, or test failures by conducting comprehensive testing processes.
   - Report on programming project activities, specifications, and status, providing a detailed analysis of testing outcomes.

3. Documentation and Reporting
   - Document all relevant information, including programming specifications and project progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for stakeholders.
   - Prepare and submit detailed documentation for client proposals and implementation, compiling reports and flowcharts that clarify project needs and objectives.

4. Team Collaboration
   - Coordinate with team members to maintain daily updates on project progress, status, and issues.
   - Provide insights into usability, identify serviceability risks, and escalate them to appropriate stakeholders.

5. Client Communication and Customer Support
   - Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure clear understanding of requirements, feedback, and project timelines.
   - Respond promptly to customer requests and manage fault reports effectively to minimize complaints or disruptions.

6. Continuous Improvement
   - Engage in ongoing education to stay up-to-date with emerging programming languages and best practices.
   - Work closely with engineering teams to assess software-hardware interfaces, meet specifications, and fulfill performance standards.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in software development, testing, and debugging with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and experience with system modifications and updates.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain comprehensive records and technical documentation.
