Job Description for Test Engineer

YASH Technologies is seeking a skilled Test Engineer with a passion for quality assurance and a knack for problem-solving. As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will be responsible for defining, creating, and executing test scripts, as well as managing defects and collaborating closely with our business and technical teams.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and develop comprehensive test cases and scripts
- Execute test scripts and meticulously document any defects
- Handle complex test creation, execution, and defect management
- Develop test approaches and detailed test plans
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing requirements
- Oversee test planning and coordination for projects, especially in senior roles

Non-Technical Profile Requirements:
- Adherence to good documentation practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Quick learner and motivated self-starter with a structured and organized approach
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow and execute testing procedures and internal guidelines

Methodology/Certification Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or Bioinformatics, or equivalent experience
- Advanced coursework in technical systems and ongoing education in technical disciplines preferred
- Additional certifications are a plus
