Job Overview
Baker Hughes is seeking a Data Engineer – Analytics to be part of its cutting-edge data team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group to develop innovative data-driven solutions for real-world challenges in energy, aviation, and industrial sectors. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into insights that power safer, smarter, and more efficient systems across the globe.

What You’ll Be Doing
Load, transform, and process complex data from multiple sources into usable formats for advanced analytics

Design and implement logical and physical data models that align with Master Data Management (MDM) best practices

Build and manage ETL pipelines to integrate structured and unstructured data into scalable data platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine data requirements

Apply scripting languages (e.g., Python, Pig, Perl) for data processing and transformation tasks

Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across platforms

Present findings and insights to stakeholders and offer innovative solutions to data problems

Who You Are
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field

Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles

Proficient in at least one ETL tool and familiar with big data tools and architecture

Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, data lineage, and data profiling

Experienced in working with large-scale datasets and implementing data integration frameworks

Excellent communication skills – capable of explaining complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders

Curious, creative, and passionate about data and continuous learning

Able to think strategically and connect technical work to business impact
