Job Description: Backend Integration Engineer

Objective:
As a Backend Integration Engineer at Info Edge, you will design, develop, and maintain backend integration solutions that enable seamless communication and data flow between systems, services, and applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth interoperability across our technology stack while implementing best practices for security, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- System Integration: Design and implement integration solutions connecting various backend systems and applications.
- API Development: Develop and manage APIs to facilitate efficient data flow and communication across systems.
- Data Management: Oversee data transfer, transformation, and storage to maintain integrity across integrated systems.
- Security Implementation: Apply security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS to ensure secure integration processes.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maintain system stability and optimize performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure successful integrations and smooth deployments.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation for integration processes, APIs, and system architecture.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance integration practices.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test plans to validate the reliability and integrity of integration solutions.

Eligibility

- Experience: 0-3 years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, MySQL, and container technologies like Docker.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of security best practices, including API security and data encryption techniques.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Accountability: High sense of ownership and responsibility toward project deliverables.

Desired Skills:
- Experience integrating third-party APIs or working on system integration projects.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
