Job Summary:
As a Software Development Engineer at Altair Inspire, you will be responsible for enhancing Inspire's capabilities by adding features and fixing bugs. You will work closely with product teams to understand requirements and develop new functionality to enhance Altair Inspire's innovative software environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Add new functionality to Altair Inspire
- Maintain existing code and enhance software capabilities
- Interact with product teams to understand requirements and develop new features
- Develop code in C++ and Python

Qualifications:
Basics:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
- 0 - 3 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in engineering domains related to CAD/CAM/CAE or Manufacturing
- Experience in C++ programming and Object-Oriented Design
- Excitement to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with proactiveness and open-mindedness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a global environment

Preferred:
- Experience with a scripting language like JavaScript or Python
- Knowledge of modern simulation and optimization applications such as topology optimization
- Knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, CAE, CAD
- Experience with Computer Graphics
