Job Description
Role Overview
As a Java Developer at Wipro, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and maintaining software applications to ensure optimal performance and seamless deployment at the client end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and meet stringent quality assurance standards
.
Key Responsibilities
1. Software Development & System Design
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
Develop, test, and implement high-quality software components following the full software development lifecycle.
Investigate problem areas and facilitate root cause analysis to improve system performance.
Enhance existing applications by fixing bugs, improving performance, and upgrading interfaces.
Collaborate with system analysts and project managers to ensure seamless integration and development.
2. Coding & Implementation
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code to ensure optimal application functionality.
Evaluate software feasibility by analyzing requirements, problem definitions, and proposed solutions.
Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, usage scenarios, and debugging processes.
Ensure all code adheres to project standards and includes clear documentation for easy maintenance.
Monitor software performance and resolve issues proactively to maintain high availability.
3. Quality Assurance & Customer Collaboration
Engage in continuous testing and debugging to ensure software is free of errors before deployment.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including reports, flowcharts, and design layouts.
Provide timely updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project progress and milestones.
Actively communicate with customers to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure high satisfaction.
Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
4. Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Monitor software integration, deployment, and performance to ensure error-free execution.
Implement enhancements based on customer feedback to improve service efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop technical specifications and system requirements.
Adhere to industry best practices and security standards while working on projects.
Document all development activities for future reference and compliance purposes.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Java, including core Java, multithreading, and collections framework.
Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
Strong understanding of database management (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
