What You’ll Be Doing
Design, code, test, and implement software applications in line with Mastercard’s engineering standards.
Build and maintain advanced applications, SDKs, test frameworks, and tools.
Research and evaluate innovative technologies to solve business challenges.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship new features and enhancements.
Participate in system design, data flow diagrams, feasibility studies, and cost/time estimates.
Handle production incidents and provide on-call support as needed.
Document all development work according to QA/SDLC standards.
Contribute to process improvements, coding standards, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing code within expected timelines.
Take ownership of assigned modules while learning from senior engineers.
Participate in agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and development discussions.
Engage in continuous learning, actively experimenting with emerging tech.
Maintain a customer-first mindset while building robust software solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Strong grasp of software engineering principles and coding practices.
Hands-on exposure to programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
Basic knowledge of SDLC, QA practices, databases, and development tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to take initiative and work independently or within global teams.
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
