About the Role
Capgemini is hiring a skilled Test Automation Engineer to lead the charge in developing and executing automation strategies for our engineering teams. In this role, you’ll bring your expertise in automation tools, frameworks, and QA methodologies to design robust testing solutions and ensure product reliability at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
Design, build, and execute automation solutions tailored to specific project needs.
Plan and implement advanced testing strategies that align with business goals.
Lead and contribute to automation delivery across diverse development projects.
Participate in client engagements, propose test automation strategies during RFPs.
Conduct automation maturity assessments and provide actionable improvement roadmaps.
Collaborate with cross-functional technical leaders to drive innovation and automation adoption.
What You’ll Need
Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python).
Deep understanding of test environments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern QA practices.
Experience working with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable automation suites.
Strong knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies and collaborative development.
Up-to-date on the latest industry trends and tools in automation.

Proven experience conducting test assessments and building automation roadmaps.
Comfort in client-facing discussions with the ability to present technical solutions.
