Job Description for Junior Java Developer at Zensar Technologies
Zensar Technologies is looking to hire a Junior Java Developer to join their team in the Telecom Service Assurance domain. This role is designed for freshers passionate about contributing to high-quality software development in network technology. You will work on innovative solutions and develop Resource Adapters to support various types of networks, including IP/MPLS, optical networks, and Telco cloud infrastructures. Key Responsibilities:
1. Resource Adapter Development
- Design, develop, and perform unit tests on Resource Adapters (RA) within the Telecom OSS FM, PM, and Inventory domains, ensuring compatibility and stability with various network elements.
- Develop advanced RAs for different Network Element types, maintaining high standards of reliability and performance. This includes IP/MPLS, optical networks, and cloud-based telecom infrastructure.
2. Design and Standardization
- Take an active role in the design of Resource Adapters, working to maintain the conceptual integrity and usability of all developed systems.
- Ensure that designs are standardized to support Zensar’s existing tools and comply with guidelines. This includes the evaluation of new features to ensure they meet customer requirements and contribute to the system’s overall usability.
3. Documentation and Development Planning
- Prepare development plans for RAs to ensure organized, efficient development cycles. Draft clear, detailed design documents to communicate each stage of development and testing requirements.
- Document all stages of the development process, from requirement gathering to final implementation. This documentation will be essential for supporting clients and future updates.
4. Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the engineering team to communicate daily project status and document progress for internal records and customer visibility.
- Provide consistent feedback on the development process, identifying any roadblocks or potential improvements in functionality and user experience.
5. Innovation and Strategic Development
- Take an innovative approach to RA development, exploring ways to integrate advanced networking capabilities. This includes supporting strategic development initiatives that align with future telecom technologies and contribute to Zensar’s competitive edge in the Telecom Service Assurance domain.

- Familiarity with version control tools like GIT.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Shell in a Linux-based environment.
- Additional Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen understanding of industry standards.
