Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Visa, you will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge payment management solutions. These solutions integrate global payment processing, fraud management, and payment security systems. Your work will involve building scalable, fault-tolerant systems while ensuring high quality and seamless delivery.
This is a hybrid role, where you will spend a portion of your time working remotely and the rest at the office, based on team and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components using functional programming paradigms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to review business requirements and create functional and technical design documentation.
Develop robust testing procedures, including API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end scenarios.
Participate in design reviews to provide insights on functional and non-functional requirements, product designs, and potential challenges.
Promote team productivity, predictability, and delivery of high-quality solutions.
Review code and take accountability for the team’s development and testing activities.
Lead proof-of-concept projects and evaluate new technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE, BTech, MTech).
Graduates from 2023 or 2024.
Preferred Qualifications:
0–1.6 years of experience in the technology industry with strong coding and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in web applications, web services, and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, J2EE, and XML.
Experience with unit testing, shell scripting, and RDBMS is an advantage.
Familiarity with continuous integration and test coverage methodologies is a plus.
Excellent communication and proactive collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
