Role Overview: As a Software Quality Engineer at Dell Technologies, you will play a crucial role in upholding the quality and reliability of our software products. This position involves developing, updating, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts based on predefined product requirements. Collaborating closely with Product Development, Product Management, and Customer Support teams, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans across Dell's diverse product portfolio and drive continuous improvements in our testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Problem-Solving: Develop effective solutions for a range of moderately complex issues, applying sound judgment and technical expertise.

Quality Assurance: Adhere to established cost, delivery, and quality targets during regression and testing phases to ensure product excellence.

Test Automation: Engage in test automation activities by writing and programming scripts in current programming languages.

Standard Practices: Follow standard engineering and testing practices, utilizing judgment within defined procedures to achieve desired outcomes.

Essential Requirements:
Test Environment Management: Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining test environments to support various testing activities.

Automation Skills: Experience in software development, particularly in building test automation frameworks and scripts.

Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with at least one mainstream programming language, with a preference for proficiency in C, C++, or Java.

Analytical Abilities: Ability to interpret hardware, software, or network specifications and develop appropriate testing methodologies accordingly.

Desirable Requirements:
Scripting Proficiency: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Shell Scripting in open systems, and JCL in mainframe environments, is advantageous.
